We are a "ryu," a school or academy. Just as schools have subjects such as mathematics, chemistry and geography so to do we have styles such as Aiki-Jujitsu, Karate and Kickboxing.

An academic subject has components. In mathematics you may learn geometry, statistics or algebra. Our styles have component such as striking, throwing, weapons defence and so on.
